Yutaka Hatta recently celebrated his 96th birthday. Over three decades ago, he famously remarked, "Culture is a fragile tree that easily withers; therefore, I must nurture it with my entire life." True to his words, he continues to host art events for young artists in his hometown of Fukui to this very day. As a special feature, a solo exhibition by Yutaka Hatta will also be held, showcasing a collection of works recently discovered in his studio.
