To commemorate the opening of the "Yozo Ukita - Self Portrait" exhibition, we will hold a Talk Event on the 1st floor of the gallery on Saturday, October 7 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Mr. Akira Miyao from the Purejob association, will talk about his involvement in the exhibition "The World of Yozo Ukita and 'Kirin'" held in 2022 at the Koumimachi Kogen Museum in Nagano Prefecture.
Mr. Miyao will discuss Yoko Ukita's "Self-Portrait" by touching on the artist’s involvement with "Kirin" in his youth, his one-year stay in Forssa, Finland, where he produced and held a solo exhibition in his 70s, and his activities at Atelier UKITA.
