We are pleased to announce the opening of Kanda & Oliveira gallery.
The first exhibition, entitled "NISHIJI COLLECTION", will present some of the contemporary artworks collected by Nishiji Inc., Kanda & Oliveiraʼ s parent company.
Nishiji Inc., whose main business is real estate, started its art collection as a corporate collection in 2013. The “NISHIJI COLLECTION” exhibition will be the first public display of this collection in six years.
It will feature a total of 18 artists, including some of the artists represented by Kanda & Oliveira who will be holding exhibitions in the future. The exhibition will present works of art that transcend ethnicity and gender and that should be passed on to the next generation.

Makoto Aida, Mika Aoki, Yoichi Umetsu, Izumi Kato, Makiko Kudo, Chiharu Shiota, Lieko Shiga, Takeshi Tanaka, Koji Nakazono, Tomoko Hisamatsu, Abdelkader Benchamma, Vivian Ho, Tatsuhito Horikoshi, Ryan McGinley, Mark Manders, Aiko Miyanaga, Hiroshi Mori, Yasumasa Morimura
*The artworks from Makiko Kudo and Lieko Shiga will be replaced by the artwork from Mark Manders at a later stage, due to current unavailability.
Open to the public: February 23 (Wed.) (public holiday) ‒ March 12 (Sat.)
Opening hours: 13:00 - 18:00 *Wednesday to Saturday during the exhibition period
