Born 1978 in Nagano Prefecture.
Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in comparative art from the Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Art and Design, and completed a research fellowship at the same university in 2005.
SHINaNOBOYa is an imaginary friend from his childhood and the first sculpture he made in his memory, which was unearthed at his parents' house in 2018. Since then, it has become one of his indispensable motifs, and it also became a catalyst for him to lose the limitation of materials. His style of work, which focuses on existence, is not limited to painting, but also includes sculpture and installation work. 2023 "The refrigerator was ◻︎." parcel / 2022 "Doria Parade," a solo exhibition at GUCCI, and at the Setouchi International Art Festival 2022. In 2020, he will hold his first solo exhibition at a museum, "From Mouth to Arrival" at Koumi Kogen Art Museum, Nagano, Japan. He has participated in "Sharing the Future" (Chiang Mai University, Thailand) and "Convective Scenery Convective Scenery 2018" (53 Art Museum, Guangzhou, China).
